Gino Motors, a member of the Toyota Motor Corporation group, starts selling in Russia an updated series of Japanese low-tonnage trucks HINO 300.
Cars received a chassis of increased loading capacity, 4-liter engine N04C, ergonomic design of the cabin and new gearboxes.
The XZU6 chassis (Standard) comes with a new 5-speed AISIN-AW RE50 MCPP, the power range of which is increased (gear ratios: from 5.34 on the first transmission to 0.71 on the fifth). Strengthened synchronizers on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears prolong the resource of the box and ensure the reliability of this vehicle. On the XZU7 chassis (WIDE), a new 6-speed AISIN-AW RE61 manual transmission was installed with an increased power range (from 6.37 on the first transmission to 0.7 per sixth). Synchronizers on the transmissions from the 2nd to 4th are also reinforced.
In addition to the basic manual transmission, within the framework of the updated HINO 300 series, an option is optional to install the AISIN A860E automatic transmission (6 steps). This proven and reliable automatic transmission is available for the chassis with a total mass of 3.5 and 8 tons in two versions of the wheelbase.
Durable rigid frame with spars with a thickness of 6 mm and three wheelbase options provide ample opportunities for mounting various add-ons. Their installation has become more convenient thanks to two rows of mounting holes that appeared on the side surface of the spars.
The HINO 300 WIDE series trucks are equipped with two options for cabins — short triple and double-row to 7 seats. All cabins received the updated grille and combination of the dashboard, which now has an enlarged display. The steering column has adjustments on the angle of inclination and departure. The driver’s seat equipped with a seat belt with a pretensioner and airbag are standardized. It also includes two-stroke mirrors of the side view with heating and electric drive, as well as central locking and power windows. The DLX configuration option provides for the air conditioning system of the cabin.
The HINO 300 WIDE chassis cab is equipped with an ergonomic driver seat with improved upholstery, adjustable suspension stiffness and a variable lumbar backup. Wide doorway and comfortable steps provide comfortable and secure access to the cab.
Sharing responsibility for the life and health of its customers, «Gino Motors» equips all cars of the updated HINO 300 series by electronic systems for helping the driver and the airbag as standard. Thus, the effectiveness of disc brakes is amplified by anti-lock system (ABS), brake force distribution systems (EBD) and course stability (VSC), as well as anti-slip system (ASR). All this increases the level of active and passive safety truck.
Easy Start system also comes to the help of the driver, preventing the car rolling at the beginning of the movement on the rise. This option is included as standard for all vehicles with mechanical checkpoint. The presence of a retardant motor brake allows you to save brake pad resources not only on long-term descents, but also under urban operating conditions.
The transverse stability stabilizer on the front axle significantly increases the controllability of the car with a cargo. In the suspension of both axes used proven and durable leaf springs. The rear axle is enhanced by additional sheets (one per each direction).
The driver’s safety also provides daytime running lights and front LED fog lights that improve visibility in adverse weather conditions.
Under the hood of the HINO 300 series trucks — the HINO N04C diesel engines tested with a volume of 4.009 liters, known for its high power and fuel efficiency parameters. Common Rail power system, a turbocharger with a variable geometry, exhaust recycling system and an active DPR filter allow for compliance with the Euro-5 environmental standard, while maintaining the operational characteristics of the machine.
The interservice interval is 20,000 km, an increased warranty — 4 years or 250,000 km of run. Cars of the updated HINO 300 series are produced in Japan at the Khamura plant (Tokyo Prefecture) in accordance with the high quality standards of Toyota Motor Corporation. On the same site there is an assembly of medium-room Toyota Dyna and Toyoace, as well as Land Cruiser Prado SUVs.
