Madness about ecology captured the entire civilized world. Now both automakers and officials regulating the industry, look at eco-econorms as a car change tool. All these events also touch Russia, which has to be drawn into this ecological race.
Recently, India, the first of the BRICS Group countries, announced the transition to the EURO-6 level standards. Recall that countries such as the Russian Federation and the PRC have yet adopted the legislative standards of the EURO-5 level. But the not far is the day when and in our Russian Federation, as in India will be announced to the transition to a more rigid ecostart.
Today, domestic automakers, not postponing in a long box prepare for it. For example, in NTC KAMAZ, work is underway to adapt the new engine of the KAMAZ-910 series to standards that meet the requirements of EURO-6. Similar work on creating, or adapting its power units to more stringent standards, AvtoVAZ and other domestic automakers are carried out.
Such a lag on environmental standards for us to benefit. After all, pioneers have to fall out, and some of them have to pay huge penalties.
We have an example before our eyes. This is the situation in which European automakers were due to the rigidly conducted by the European Commission (EU Government) «Green» policies. Thus, the lowest average emissions from cars produced for the European market, at the beginning of last year they turned out to be in two automakers —
European legislation provides for each gram
Here is such a European accounting.
Let us show on the example of Renault to what it led. The French automaker will not pay a single euro of the fine, because he managed not to surpass the installed figure, thanks to the electric car Renault Zoe, whose sales increased by 114% for the year. 100 657 such electrocars for 2020 are sold, this is fantastic. And to understand this, it is necessary to compare with the sales of other models of Renault — Kadjar crossover, Hatchbacks and MEGANE wagons, Scenic minivans, large Talisman cars and Koleos crossovers, which each separately sold less than Zoe. From the model range of the French automaker, only two models of Captur and Clio were sold separately more than Zoe electrocars.
But that is not all. In the indicators of 95 grams, the case will not stop. Before European automakers, there are very strict new EURO-7 standards, which can be introduced by 2025. Where it leads? Hildegard Muller, President of the Association of the Automotive Industry of Germany (VDA), answered this question. «With the introduction of the planned EURO-7 standard, the EURO-Commission of de facto will ban cars with internal combustion engines from 2025,» she said. If the limitations of exhaust emissions will be too strict, internal combustion engines will no longer be competitive. Auto producers will have to produce only hybrids and electric cars.
VDA beats alarm, not only with respect to the limit values itself, but also testing methods. In a study, which conducted with the filing of the association, it is said that cars should be laid in restrictions on harmful emissions not only average indicators, but also on peak. «The Commission wants to establish that in the future the vehicle should practically not produce emissions in any road situation, whether when lifting a trailer to the mountain or in conditions of slow urban traffic. It is technically impossible, and everyone knows that, «says Muller.
If the European Commission can actually disseminate tightened requirements not only on average emission indicators, but also on peak, companies will have to abandon mechanical transmission in favor of «robots» and «automata» to make switching more smooth. And in general, the habits of cars will be as if they took sleeping pills. The pleasure of driving will have to forget.
A similar tightening of econors has already delivered a number of questions and in front of producers of freight equipment.
The development of these technologies is ready to spend from 50 billion to 100 billion euros. The autocontrisers will help the Potsdam Institute for the study of climate change, said director Scania Henrik Henriksson.
The Big-7 automakers operate within the framework of the European Association of Car Manufacturers (ACEA).
And what is the place of Russia on this ecological holiday of life?
Today, we are gaining momentum process the process of gasometallization. Recently, President Putin set the task to create a bus operating on hydrogen. But to the norms euro-6, Euro-7 we will live, but it will not be so soon. The Green Party, Greenpeace, Greta Tunberg — these are not our political and economic reality.
But what they think about this on AvtoVAZ. As for the hybrids and electrocars, Andrei Lihachev, director of the Lada B / C program, said on one of the lectures: the necessary solutions have a Renault group, and it will be more expedient to adapt them if necessary under the LADA model than to develop something independently. But the «green» cars are not the closest perspective for the brand.
